The Shattered Crown Chronicles Book 2
by Maren Ashcombe
Kaelen Valecourt is the lawful bearer in an active reckoning over the crown. The Assembly has every procedure it needs to delay her. The Hall wants a counterpart register held at a fortress on the north chain road, and no one has said what it will show. Kael must cross that road with a wounded companion, a keeper of sealed records and a Speaker who will not commit. Maren Ashcombe is a ReadersBase Originals pen name for AI-assisted fiction.
